My interests in the natural world and in human nature have lead me to have a strong interest in the field of hypnotherapy. I have been helping people improve their lives by overcoming habits, and fears, by enhancing their innate abilities, and reducing stress and managing pain without using (or using less) medication for 16 years. I want to provide information about the uesfullness of hypnosis and the ways it can be used to benefit each of us.

Q: Is hypnosis safe?
A: Yes. Hypnosis is safe when the practitioner is qualified. In 1958 the American Medical Association endorsed hypnosis as a theraputic aid. More recently, in 1995, a panel of Doctors from the National Institutes of Health urged that hypnosis and other behavioral therapies should be used more often to treat chronic pain and insomnia. These Doctors also recommended that insurers should treat alternative therapies as they do standard medical care and reimburse for services.
